Legal Studies Adjunct Instructor – Part‑time

About the role

Chattahoochee Technical College is seeking a part‑time Legal Studies Adjunct Instructor to deliver courses across multiple campuses and online formats. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Business Sciences, you will help sustain and grow the Legal Studies program, equipping students with practical skills for the business and legal sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver Legal Studies curriculum for day, evening, and online (asynchronous and synchronous) classes.
• Assess student performance and provide feedback to support learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with faculty and supervise paralegal or legal assistant work as needed.
• Maintain course materials and grading records in accordance with college policies.

Required profile

• Juris Doctorate, or a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Paralegal or Legal Studies combined with relevant paralegal experience.
• Ability to teach post‑secondary students and manage classroom dynamics.
• Willingness to undergo background, motor‑vehicle and reference checks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Blackboard or other Learning Management Systems.
• Experience delivering computer‑assisted instruction.
