Legal Software Application Specialist & Trainer

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Software Application Specialist and Trainer to act as the bridge between attorneys and technology. Based in Seattle, you will design and deliver training programs, support end‑users, and ensure the firm’s legal software ecosystem runs smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update training materials, user documentation, and on‑demand tutorials.
• Deliver in‑person, virtual, and hybrid training sessions for new hires and existing staff.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert for core legal and business software applications, including AI‑enabled tools.
• Provide application support, troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with practice groups to identify technology needs and promote best practices.
• Assist attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants with document production, templates, and software issues.
• Participate in testing, configuring, upgrading, and maintaining approved software alongside IT.
• Coordinate with vendors for support, training opportunities, and product enhancements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in technology training, applications support, or legal‑technology consulting.
• Strong knowledge of server‑based applications and web technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑enabled tools and platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; prior law‑firm experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts.
