About the role

This is a senior leadership position responsible for building and scaling a modern legal operations function within a fast‑growing enterprise. The role combines strategic planning, technology implementation, and process innovation to deliver efficient legal services across the organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, launch and lead the Legal Operations function, creating scalable systems, processes and operational strategies.
  • Partner with legal leadership on strategic planning, budgeting, quarterly business planning and cross‑functional alignment.
  • Own and administer legal technology platforms, including contract lifecycle management, workflow automation and AI‑enabled solutions.
  • Design and optimize legal intake, matter management, ticketing, triage and self‑service workflows.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge repositories, templates, playbooks and process documentation.
  • Evaluate, implement and manage new legal tech, automation, analytics and workflow tools.
  • Define, track and report on KPIs such as throughput, cycle times, backlog, service levels and risk metrics.
  • Lead change‑management initiatives, including communication, training and adoption strategies.
  • Manage vendor relationships, outside counsel and alternative service providers while optimizing costs.
  • Support strategic transactions, including virtual data‑room management for M&A, financing and other corporate initiatives.

Required profile

  • 8+ years of legal operations experience in high‑growth technology, SaaS or professional‑services environments.
  • Proven ability to build and scale legal operations functions.
  • Strong collaboration skills with legal, finance, sales, procurement, security and product teams.
  • Data‑driven mindset with experience measuring and reporting operational performance.
  • Excellent communication and change‑management capabilities.

Required skills

  • Experience with contract lifecycle management systems.
  • Proficiency in workflow automation tools.
  • Familiarity with AI‑enabled legal technology solutions.
