About the role

Law360, a LexisNexis company within RELX, is looking for a motivated News Assistant to support its legal news coverage. This remote position is ideal for an aspiring journalist who enjoys researching, writing, and staying on top of court and regulatory developments.

Key responsibilities

• Check federal and state court dockets for relevant litigation.
• Monitor regulatory databases and government websites for updates.
• Track congressional hearings and other noteworthy events.
• Pitch story ideas to editors and assist in editorial planning.
• Eventually report on and write news articles for Law360’s audience.

Required profile

• Demonstrated research and writing abilities.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Preference for experience in media or publishing.
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field.
