Legal Intake Specialist – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a Legal Intake Specialist to join a U.S.-based law firm on a remote basis. In this role you will be the first point of contact for prospective clients, guiding them through the intake process and ensuring that cases are captured accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Handle initial client inquiries and provide information about the firm’s legal services.
• Conduct thorough interviews to collect essential details about clients' legal needs.
• Evaluate case viability against established criteria and flag promising matters.
• Coordinate consultations between clients and attorneys, ensuring a smooth hand‑off.
• Maintain detailed, accurate records of all client interactions and intake data.
• Support the legal team with administrative tasks and stay updated on relevant legal procedures.

Required profile

• Prior experience as a legal intake specialist or in a similar law‑firm role.
• Strong understanding of legal processes and terminology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to assess cases quickly and provide accurate information.
• Highly organized with strong multitasking capabilities.
• Self‑motivated to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a team.
