Legal Intake Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Legal Intake Specialist to be the first point of contact for potential clients of a busy Virginia law firm that handles family law, criminal defense and estate planning. The role is fully remote and focuses on converting inbound inquiries into booked consultations while providing a compassionate and professional experience.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from prospective clients, listen actively and create a positive first impression.
• Qualify leads by asking targeted questions to determine fit with the firm’s services.
• Book consultation appointments, aiming for a target of 15 bookings per week.
• Enter and maintain accurate intake information in the Lawmatics CRM.
• Follow up with leads, send reminders and answer pre‑consultation questions.
• Participate in weekly call review sessions to receive coaching and improve conversion rates.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in legal intake, legal administration or client‑facing roles within a law firm.
• Proven ability to balance empathy with consultative selling.
• Excellent verbal English communication skills.

Required skills

• Lawmatics or similar legal CRM platform proficiency.
