Leasing Professional – West End

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional for its West End District community. The role drives marketing, leasing, and renewal activities to meet occupancy, revenue, and resident‑retention targets.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate any needed maintenance, and ensure units are ready for residents.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Use on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data, and generate reports.
• Maintain show‑unit quality by daily inspections, merchandising, and coordinating with the maintenance team.
• Follow up with prospects and residents via email, phone, and thank‑you notes to secure leases and renewals.
• Prepare renewal letters, meet with renewing residents, and ensure timely execution of renewal documents.
• Respond promptly to resident and owner concerns, escalating issues as needed.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to be on call.
• Physical capability to work in all weather conditions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software such as OneSite and Yardi.
• Experience using internet marketing tools (Craigslist, Facebook, email campaigns).
