Leasing Professional – The Hadley

About the role

The Leasing Professional will coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal activities for The Hadley community, a stabilized garden‑style apartment complex with 444 units. The role focuses on achieving occupancy, revenue, and resident‑retention goals through proactive leasing and resident‑service initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease packages to achieve occupancy targets.
• Inspect units before move‑in, ensure readiness, and coordinate any maintenance issues.
• Monitor market trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials to boost occupancy.
• Execute marketing activities such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, record traffic, and manage resident data.
• Follow‑up with prospects and residents via email, calls, and thank‑you notes to secure leases and renewals.

Required profile

• Must hold all state and local leasing licenses and a valid driver’s license for on‑site transportation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on‑call duties.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with OneSite or Yardi property management software.
• Experience using internet marketing tools such as Craigslist, Facebook, and email platforms.
