Leasing Professional – Temporary

About the role

The Leasing Professional is responsible for coordinating marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals for the community.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities, including greeting prospects, conducting tours, processing applications, and ensuring smooth move‑ins.
• Inspect apartments before resident move‑in, confirm readiness, and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Develop and implement short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, using resident referral programs and internet marketing tools to drive traffic.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity, and manage resident data.
• Prepare lease renewal packages, contact renewing residents, and ensure timely execution of renewal documents.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.

Required skills

• OneSite property management software.
• Yardi property management software.
• Internet marketing tools such as Craigslist and Facebook.
