Leasing Professional – Scottsdale

About the role

This position coordinates the community’s marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident‑retention goals. The Leasing Professional greets prospects, conducts tours, processes applications, and ensures smooth move‑ins and lease signings.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities to meet occupancy and revenue targets, including qualifying prospects, showing apartments, and preparing lease packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, schedule maintenance, and ensure units are ready for new residents.
• Monitor market conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on Craigslist, Facebook, and email platforms.
• Utilize property‑management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, and manage resident data.
• Maintain show‑unit quality through daily inspections, merchandising, and coordination with maintenance.
• Follow up with prospects and residents via email, calls, and thank‑you notes to ensure satisfaction and lease renewals.
• Prepare lease renewal letters, meet with renewing residents, and ensure timely signing of renewal documents.

Required profile

• Must hold all state and local licenses required for leasing activities.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property‑management software such as OneSite and Yardi.
• Experience using internet marketing tools including Craigslist, Facebook, and email campaigns.
