Leasing Professional – Property Management

About the role

The Leasing Professional is responsible for coordinating marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals at The Gin Mill community.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities, including greeting prospects, conducting tours, processing applications, credit screening, and preparing lease packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, ensure they are ready, and coordinate any outstanding items with maintenance.
• Develop and implement short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, using resident referral, employer outreach, and online tools to drive traffic.
• Utilize property management software to track availability, record leasing activity, and manage resident data.
• Support lease renewal program by preparing renewal letters, contacting residents, and ensuring timely execution of renewal documents.

Required profile

• Must hold all state and local leasing licenses required by jurisdiction and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
