About the role
This role coordinates the community’s marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to meet occupancy, revenue, and resident‑retention goals. The Leasing Professional works directly with prospective and current residents, ensuring a smooth leasing experience from initial contact through lease signing and move‑in.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show available apartments.
- Process applications, perform credit screening and criminal background checks.
- Prepare lease agreements and move‑in packages, and guide residents through the signing process.
- Inspect apartments before resident move‑in to confirm readiness and schedule any required maintenance.
- Maintain resident satisfaction throughout the lease term and secure lease renewals.
Required profile
- Ability to engage with prospects, conduct tours, and manage the full leasing cycle.
- Attention to detail for application processing, background checks, and lease documentation.
- Capability to inspect units and coordinate maintenance tasks before occupancy.
