Leasing Professional (Multi‑Site) – North Austin

About the role

The Leasing Professional coordinates marketing, leasing and renewal strategies for a multi‑site community in North Austin. The role drives occupancy, revenue and resident retention by managing all leasing activities, ensuring resident satisfaction, and securing lease renewals.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, schedule maintenance, and ensure units are ready for residents.
• Monitor market conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions to boost occupancy.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Use property‑management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data, and capture demographic information.
• Maintain show‑unit quality, coordinate with maintenance, and prepare the leasing office for daily activities.
• Follow up with prospects and residents via email, phone, and thank‑you notes to ensure satisfaction and secure renewals.
• Respond promptly to resident and owner concerns, escalating issues as needed.

Required profile

• All state and local licenses or certifications required for leasing professionals.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property‑management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Experience using online marketing tools including Craigslist, Facebook and email campaigns.
• Ability to conduct credit screening and background checks.
