Leasing Professional – Liberty Warehouse

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy and revenue for the Liberty Warehouse community in Durham by managing all aspects of the leasing cycle. This includes greeting prospects, conducting tours, processing applications, and ensuring resident satisfaction throughout the lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Perform sales and leasing activities to meet occupancy and revenue goals, including qualifying prospects, showing apartments, and preparing lease packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate maintenance for any issues, and ensure apartments are move‑in ready.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, using internet tools such as Craigslist and Facebook to generate traffic.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity, and manage resident data.
• Maintain show‑unit standards by daily inspections, merchandising, and coordinating with maintenance.
• Follow up with prospects and residents via email, calls, and thank‑you notes to secure leases and renewals.
• Respond promptly to resident and owner concerns, documenting issues and coordinating resolutions.

Required profile

• All state and local licensing and certification requirements must be met.
• Valid driver’s license required for operating a golf cart on the property.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) in all weather conditions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software such as OneSite and Yardi.
• Experience using online marketing platforms (Craigslist, Facebook, email campaigns) to drive leasing traffic.
