Leasing Professional – Flatiron

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional to lead marketing, leasing, and renewal efforts for its Flatiron community. You will be the primary point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through tours, applications, and move‑in processes while ensuring high resident satisfaction and retention.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screening and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate any needed maintenance, and ensure units are ready for residents.
• Monitor market and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity, and maintain resident and prospect data.
• Maintain show‑unit standards through daily inspections and coordination with the maintenance team.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to engage and qualify prospective residents.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for tours and leasing negotiations.
• Detail‑oriented approach to application processing, background checks, and lease documentation.
• Proactive market awareness and ability to develop effective marketing strategies.
• Organizational skills to coordinate move‑ins, maintenance requests, and resident retention activities.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Familiarity with online marketing tools including Craigslist and Facebook.
