Leasing Professional – Element Barclay Community

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional to manage marketing, leasing and renewal activities for the Element Barclay community in Wilmington, NC. The role focuses on achieving occupancy, revenue and resident retention through full‑cycle leasing and resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, show apartments and process applications, credit and background checks.
• Prepare lease and move‑in packages, ensure smooth resident move‑in and lease signing.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, confirm readiness and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing activities, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage resident data and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Available to work Monday‑Friday with rotating weekends.
• Strong customer‑service orientation to engage prospects and residents.
• Detail‑oriented mindset for unit inspections and move‑in readiness.
• Awareness of local market trends and competitor activity.
