Leasing Professional – Community Silver

About the role

The Leasing Professional will coordinate marketing, leasing and renewal activities for the Silver community, driving occupancy, revenue and resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, ensure they are ready, and coordinate any maintenance needs.
• Monitor market trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Use property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity and maintain resident data.
• Maintain show units and common areas to company standards, coordinating with maintenance staff.
• Follow up with prospects and new residents via email, calls or cards to ensure satisfaction and secure lease signings.
• Support lease renewal by preparing renewal packages, contacting residents ahead of move‑out dates and securing signed agreements.
• Respond promptly to resident and owner inquiries, documenting and escalating issues as needed.

Required profile

• Valid state and local licenses required; a driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, climb ladders and crawl in confined spaces.
