Leasing Professional – Avana Collins Creek

About the role

We are seeking a Leasing Professional to join the Avana Collins Creek community in Antioch. In this role you will drive leasing activities, manage resident satisfaction, and support lease renewals to meet occupancy and revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, show apartments, and process applications, credit and background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements and move‑in packages, ensuring a smooth resident move‑in experience.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to resolve any issues.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community policies on concessions and specials.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Maintain accurate records of unit availability, prospect data, and leasing activity using on‑site property management software.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to engage prospective residents.
• Attention to detail for lease documentation and unit inspections.
• Ability to analyze market data and adjust leasing strategies accordingly.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Proficiency in online marketing tools including Craigslist and Facebook.
