Leasing Manager – Zig Apartments

About the role

The Leasing Manager oversees all aspects of leasing operations for Zig Apartments, ensuring occupancy targets are met and resident satisfaction is maintained. This role manages marketing, advertising, sales activities and the leasing team to achieve revenue, occupancy and retention goals.

Key responsibilities

• Direct marketing, advertising, and sales activities to meet revenue and occupancy goals, including setting rent pricing and concessions.
• Monitor on‑site traffic, maintain an inventory of “ready” apartments, and oversee day‑to‑day leasing operations.
• Develop and execute print and internet advertising strategies using property‑management software to generate leasing reports.
• Collaborate with maintenance to ensure unit presentation, conduct inspections, and create mini‑models to enhance marketability.
• Participate in the leasing process: qualify prospects, prepare lease documents, and manage move‑in procedures.
• Review financial, traffic, and closing‑ratio reports to identify performance issues and present findings to owners and managers.
• Lead lease renewal program, coordinate resident communications, and support move‑out processes.
• Supervise leasing team: recruit, train, evaluate performance, and enforce company policies.

Required profile

• Hold all state and local licenses or certifications required for leasing management.
• Possess a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with on‑call responsibilities.
