Lead Technical Product Manager – Commerce Platform

About the role

Levi Strauss & Co. is seeking an experienced Lead Technical Product Manager to define and drive the strategy for its global Commerce Platform. The platform powers digital commerce experiences across channels and markets, and is undergoing a transformation to a modern, domain‑driven, API‑first architecture. You will work closely with engineering, architecture, digital product and business stakeholders to turn commercial needs into scalable technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and evolve the product strategy for core Commerce Platform capabilities such as product, inventory, cart, checkout, payments and promotions.
• Partner with Engineering and Architecture to shape platform road‑maps, identify reusable services and address technical constraints, scalability and reliability.
• Lead the end‑to‑end product lifecycle from discovery and definition through implementation, launch, adoption and continuous improvement.
• Manage product backlogs, prioritize epics and user stories, and make trade‑off decisions across value, cost, risk and time‑to‑market.
• Define clear contracts, APIs and interfaces between platform services and their consumers, championing API‑first and event‑driven approaches.
• Coordinate dependencies across upstream and downstream systems, ensuring alignment with the broader commerce ecosystem.

• Experience influencing cross‑functional teams, including engineering, architecture and business stakeholders.
