Lead Service Technician – Lease – Up – Jade

About the role

The Lead Service Technician – Lease – Up – Jade is responsible for ensuring that all physical aspects of residential units, common areas, and amenities meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. Reporting to the Area Maintenance Manager, this role combines hands‑on technical work with coordination of vendors and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and perform work order completion for resident service requests and preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Oversee the make‑ready process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage, returning unused items, and ordering new supplies as needed.
• Conduct all required inspections using Leonardo 247, Entrata, and other platforms, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Complete documentation and paperwork promptly and accurately to maintain proper service request records.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities by performing routine cleaning, trash removal, and upkeep tasks.

Required profile

• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical or technical defects in residential properties.
• Ability to follow established policies, safety procedures, and local code requirements.
• Comfort working under the supervision of an Area Maintenance Manager while leading day‑to‑day tasks.
