Lead Producer

About the role

Pubity Group Ltd is seeking a Lead Producer to shape a continuous slate of short‑form and long‑form formats for its Gen‑Z audience. Based in New York with a hybrid work model, you will own the end‑to‑end development pipeline, from concept through pilot and scaling.

Key responsibilities

• Own the development slate, tracking what is in development, piloting, scaling, paused or discontinued.
• Identify spot formats worth building based on channel performance, trends and audience data.
• Set production standards and criteria for pilots, including cost targets and performance metrics.
• Maintain a live pipeline of formats sized to keep production resources optimally utilized.
• Build and lead a team of producers, allocating resources and guiding each format through its lifecycle.
• Provide honest, data‑driven assessments to the Head of Studio on what is working and what isn’t.
• Measure success by the number of shows in the pipeline and their scalability, not just video output.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading content production teams and delivering scalable formats.
• Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate audience insights into viable formats.
• Excellent decision‑making skills regarding budgeting, pilot criteria and scaling.
• Collaborative approach, comfortable working with cross‑functional partners.
