Lead Lifeguard - Seasonal

About the role

The Lead Lifeguard will oversee safety for the aquatic areas at Summit Club, a Discovery Land Company location outside Las Vegas, NV. This seasonal position runs from early April to early October 2026 and combines hands‑on water monitoring with team leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule Lifeguard staff, ensuring coverage for pool and deck areas.
• Monitor pool activity, enforce rules, and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain a clean, organized pool environment throughout the day.
• Set up and break down pool equipment and activities each shift.
• Report safety or maintenance issues promptly to the Clubhouse Manager.
• Provide first‑aid, CPR, and AED treatment as needed.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and any additional duties assigned.

Required profile

• Current Lifeguard certification.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification.
• At least two years of experience in an aquatic environment preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication skills and a professional, positive attitude.
