Lead Aircraft Structures Assembler – Mobile, AL

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Lead Aircraft Structures Assembler to join the production team at its Mobile, AL facility. You will be responsible for assembling metallic and composite aircraft structures, ensuring compliance with drawings and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural assemblies of metallic, composite, and hybrid stack components according to engineering drawings.
• Assist the Interiors Station Supervisor in organizing workflow, assigning tasks, and securing necessary materials and tools.
• Monitor production output and quality, reporting any deviations to supervisory staff.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area on the shop floor.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the assembly station.

Required profile

• Experience in aircraft structural assembly, preferably with both metallic and composite materials.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and applicable standards.
• Strong organizational skills to assign work, manage resources, and track production metrics.
• Commitment to safety and quality in a high‑tempo manufacturing environment.
