Lawn Care Technician – Pesticide Applicator

About the role

This outdoor, route‑based position with Weed Man in Spencer, MA involves providing lawn and pest control services to residential customers. No prior lawn‑care experience is required, and you will receive training and support to succeed.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and service a daily route of customers, applying lawn and pest control treatments.
• Explain treatments, provide recommendations, and build strong customer relationships.
• Meet service, production, and sales goals while maintaining equipment, vehicle, and professional appearance.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid Massachusetts driver’s license with 3+ years driving history and a clean record.
• Ability to walk large properties and lift up to 50 lb.
• Ability to obtain a Massachusetts pesticide license.
• Experience with face‑to‑face customer service and strong communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, accountable, and able to work independently.
