About the role
The State of Georgia, through Chattahoochee Technical College, is seeking a part‑time Lab Tutor for Interior Design Technology. The tutor will support students enrolled in the INDS program at the Woodstock campus, assisting them with lab work and coursework on a per‑term basis. The position is open‑ended each semester, with applications reviewed per term. Employment is with Chattahoochee Technical College, not a specific campus, and there is no expectation of continuation beyond the appointed term.
Key responsibilities
- Assist INDS students with hands‑on lab activities related to interior design.
- Provide guidance and support for coursework assignments in interior design technology.
- Maintain lab equipment, ensure safety standards, and prepare materials for class sessions.
Required profile
- Completion of INDS coursework through INDS 2310.
- An Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Interior Design is preferred.
- Eligibility to undergo pre‑employment criminal background check and motor vehicle records review.
