Lab Tutor – Esthetician (Part-time)

About the role

The Lab Tutor in Esthetician will support students enrolled in the Esthetician program at Chattahoochee Technical College’s Mountain View Campus. Working part-time on a semester basis, you will assist learners with laboratory exercises and related coursework during scheduled shifts (8 am, 12 pm or 5 pm).

Key responsibilities

• Guide students through esthetic lab procedures and ensure proper technique.
• Provide hands‑on assistance during lab sessions and answer coursework questions.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized lab environment.
• Document student progress and report any issues to the program coordinator.

Required profile

• Completed esthetic coursework through ESTH 1070.
• Active Georgia State Board of Cosmetology Esthetician License (preferred).
• Ability to work the designated shift on a part‑time, term‑based schedule.
• Willingness to undergo background, motor vehicle and reference checks.

Required skills

• Knowledge of esthetic laboratory techniques and safety protocols.
