Key Account Manager – Marine

About the role

KONE is seeking a Key Account Manager – Marine to build strong customer relationships and drive profitable growth within its marine accounts in the United States. You will develop and execute strategic account plans, identify new business opportunities, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage strategic marine customer accounts, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
• Develop and execute detailed account plans while maintaining accurate data, reporting, and contract information.
• Create and pursue sales opportunities, value propositions, and growth initiatives aligned with customer needs.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to support account objectives, agreements, and operational execution.
• Conduct regular site visits and relationship reviews to identify risks, resolve issues, and strengthen partnerships.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of sales or sales‑management experience in a matrixed organization.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
• Strong commercial acumen, customer focus, and commitment to safety and profitability goals.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Experience using sales platforms and reporting tools.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
