About the role

Tuva, a leading data literacy company for K-12 education, is seeking a K-5 Math Education Specialist to lead the development of its Jr. instructional program and support educators worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the creation of the Tuva Jr. program, curating datasets and authoring lessons aligned to national and state mathematics standards.
• Produce resources such as example guides, video tutorials, and detailed walkthroughs to help math educators integrate Tuva into instruction.
• Engage with a global community of math educators to incorporate Tuva into their practice.
• Improve online and in‑person professional development and train‑the‑trainer programs.
• Initiate partnerships with academic institutions, research organizations, and community groups to expand data literacy teaching.

Required profile

• BS, MS, PhD, or Ed.M in Math Education, Curriculum Design, Instructional Design, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of foundational data analysis and statistics concepts.
• 3‑5 years of successful classroom experience teaching elementary math and science.
• Proven ability to create cross‑disciplinary curriculum that integrates multiple subject areas.
• Excellent communication skills with educators, partners, and team members.
• Passion for online learning and empowering educators to create memorable experiences.
