K-12 Education Expert – Remote Contract (up to $1,000 per task)

About the role

Mercor is seeking experienced K-12 education professionals to work remotely on evaluating AI‑generated educational content. This contract position involves reviewing lesson plans, assessments, and classroom management tools to ensure they align with pedagogical best practices and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and evaluate AI‑generated outputs for lesson planning, student assessment, classroom management, and instructional design.
• Create realistic K-12 workflow scenarios such as IEP development, parent‑teacher communication, and curriculum alignment.
• Annotate, label, and validate data across use cases like differentiated instruction and formative assessment.
• Provide structured feedback on AI accuracy regarding educational best practices and regulations (IDEA, Title I, ESSA).
• Collaborate asynchronously with research teams to refine evaluation frameworks for K-12 education AI.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in K-12 education (teaching, special education, administration, or instructional coaching).
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate educational workflows into evaluation tasks.
• Excellent written communication and meticulous attention to detail.
