About the role
We are seeking a skilled Tool Designer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will design and develop tools and fixtures used in manufacturing processes, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to improve production efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality.
Key responsibilities
- Create detailed designs and specifications for tools, dies, molds, and fixtures using CAD software.
- Develop prototypes and conduct tests to validate functionality and performance, adjusting designs as needed.
- Work closely with engineers, machinists, and production staff to understand tool requirements and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting timelines and budget constraints.
- Identify opportunities for design improvements and cost reductions while staying updated on industry trends.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience in tool design and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to obtain a tow motor license and successfully pass LOTO and confined‑space training.
