Junior ServiceNow Developer – AI-Assisted Development

About the role

CGI is looking for a Junior ServiceNow Developer to join a financial services team. The position is based on a client site in Lafayette, Louisiana and operates in a hybrid environment. You will design, develop, configure and maintain ServiceNow applications while leveraging AI‑assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure and maintain ServiceNow modules, workflows, forms and business rules.
• Utilise AI‑assisted development tools for coding, testing, documentation and troubleshooting.
• Support integrations with enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub or similar technologies.
• Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders and platform owners to enhance ServiceNow capabilities.
• Ensure solutions meet security, auditability and compliance requirements in a regulated financial environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on ServiceNow development and configuration experience.
• Experience working in highly regulated or financial services environments.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into reliable technical solutions.
• Good communication skills for interacting with both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• ServiceNow platform expertise (modules, workflows, forms, business rules).
• JavaScript, Glide APIs, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer.
• REST and SOAP API integration, IntegrationHub.
• AI‑assisted development tools.
• ITSM processes: Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Service Catalog.
• Cloud experience, preferably AWS‑heavy enterprise environments.
