IT Support Technician

About the role

The IT Support Technician provides hands‑on technical assistance for desktops, laptops, servers, and network infrastructure. Acting as the primary point of contact for end‑users, the role combines advanced troubleshooting with strong customer service to keep the office’s technology running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to user issues via phone, email, or in‑person following established procedures.
• Deploy, re‑image, and configure Mac and PC workstations for new and existing staff.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, performing repairs when necessary.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of PCs, printers, servers, and related equipment.
• Keep the local server room organized and clean.
• Configure the office telephone system and manage network cabling in the switch closet.
• Provide support for Macintosh hardware and macOS.
• Manage both virtual and physical server environments and oversee office copiers and network printers.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience supporting Apple Mac environments and macOS.
• Proven ability to configure PCs and install/maintain desktop applications.
• Experience with remote support tools and WAN/LAN hardware.
• Hands‑on experience with server rack installation and phone/network wiring.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
