About the role

The IT Solution Management role at Applied Materials is responsible for designing, configuring, and overseeing complex IT solutions that meet cross‑functional customer needs. The position leads the full lifecycle of applications, ensures high‑quality service delivery, and drives innovation across the semiconductor and display equipment business.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate with customers to design integrated solutions that address complex, cross‑functional requirements.
• Oversee software application configuration, coding, testing, data conversion, and quality‑assurance activities.
• Manage the lifecycle of IT services and applications, including patching, point releases, and major upgrades.
• Supervise contract developers and coordinate outsourced IT services to meet service‑level agreements.
• Plan and execute projects while controlling scope, timeline, budget, and quality.
• Mentor and train solution‑development personnel and act as a subject‑matter expert.

Required profile

• Technical expert with deep knowledge of application functionality and IT solution development.
• Proven ability to anticipate business and regulatory issues and recommend improvements.
• Strong leadership experience leading high‑risk, complex projects and developing execution strategies.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills, capable of delivering innovative solutions with broad business impact.
