IT Infrastructure Manager

About the role

Saronic Technologies is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to lead its systems and network engineering teams. The role owns the corporate IT environment, drives new facility build‑outs, and supports hardware and software engineering with resilient, scalable infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and mentor distributed systems and network engineering teams, shaping staffing, processes, and technology growth.
• Own the infrastructure roadmap, including capacity planning, lifecycle management, and modernization across on‑premise data centers, hybrid cloud (AWS/AWS GovCloud, Azure), and global network.
• Architect, deploy, and operate enterprise Windows and Linux environments, virtualization, storage, and high‑performance computing for engineering workloads.
• Design and operate global network infrastructure—switching, wireless, firewalls, VPN, and monitoring on Cisco, Aruba, and Palo Alto platforms.
• Lead end‑to‑end IT infrastructure design and build‑out for new facilities, covering network architecture and data/voice cabling.
• Standardize software, configurations, automation, and processes to improve reliability, security, and delivery speed.
• Develop and enforce backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies, ensuring tested recovery objectives.
• Partner with Security to implement DoD‑aligned controls (NIST SP 800‑171, DFARS 252.204‑7012, CMMC, ITAR) and support audits.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience managing both systems and network engineering teams in a high‑growth, technical environment.
• Hands‑on background in designing, building, and operating resilient infrastructure for 24x7 operations.
• Strong understanding of hybrid cloud, data‑center, and global network architectures.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with Service Desk, Security, and engineering organizations.
