IT Help Desk Tier 1 Engineer

About the role

Siepe is seeking a Tier 1 IT Support Engineer to act as the first point of contact for technical issues. The role is primarily remote, providing white‑glove support to U.S.‑based clients, with occasional onsite visits. You will represent Siepe to high‑demand financial users in a cloud‑first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver white‑glove service for end‑user requests, workstations, conference rooms and other managed IT resources.
• Collaborate with IT Infrastructure, Implementation, Relationship Management and Service Desk teams to provide front‑line and dedicated onsite support.
• Install, configure and support Windows desktop applications and virtual/physical workstations.
• Monitor ticketing systems, acknowledge and respond to requests within defined SLAs.
• Track infrastructure alerts across monitoring platforms, investigate and escalate issues as needed.
• Perform system health checks using detailed checklists and report findings.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with clear, courteous communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Willingness to travel for onsite support when required.

Required skills

• Windows operating system proficiency.
• Experience with cloud‑based environments.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems.
• Knowledge of monitoring platforms and alert management.
