iOS Software Engineer – Privacy-focused Mobile Carrier

About the role

As an iOS Engineer at Cape, you will build the definitive application for private mobile communication, owning the entire feature lifecycle from architectural design to App Store launch. You will use Swift and SwiftUI to tackle challenging security and cryptography problems that protect personal information, account data, and voice & SMS traffic.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of the mobile product lifecycle, from concept through design, development, and launch.
• Maintain high coding standards by creating guidelines, participating in code reviews, and fostering continuous improvement.
• Champion security, performance, and stability through robust testing, monitoring, and release processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve user workflows and ensure a seamless, cohesive experience.

Required profile

• Proven ability to learn continuously, work independently, and make decisions with minimal supervision.
• Experience brainstorming and iterating with product designers.
• Comfort working in a constantly evolving environment with dynamic objectives.
• Understanding of cryptographic systems and privacy‑focused solution design.
