Investment Banking Analyst – Family Coverage Group

About the role

The Analyst will join the Family Coverage Group at a leading global investment bank, supporting client prospecting, idea generation, and execution of M&A, debt and equity transactions. You will work closely with senior bankers across Investment Banking, Private Bank and Commercial Bank, gaining hands‑on experience and continuous mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Develop financial models using DCF, merger, accretion/dilution, LBO, comparable company and transaction analyses.
• Market, structure and execute corporate finance deals, including M&A, divestitures, spin‑offs and capital‑raising financings.
• Prepare pitch books and marketing materials for sell‑side and buy‑side transactions.
• Conduct research on family offices and investment firms to support client prospecting.
• Assist senior bankers in idea generation and relationship building with key focus accounts.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• Prior experience in an investment banking front‑office or a related role.
• Strong accounting, finance and quantitative skills with the ability to analyze company financials.
• Understanding of the transaction cycle and a focus on execution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of interacting with senior professionals and clients.

Required skills

• Financial modeling techniques (DCF, LBO, merger analysis, comparable company/transaction analysis).
• Business writing and presentation preparation.
