Inventory Specialist

About the role

Paragon Technologies, a SunSource company, is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage ordering, receiving, storing and distributing materials, equipment and supplies. The role supports the repair and re‑manufacturing operations across electronics, hydraulics, robotics and mechanical components.

Key responsibilities

• Disassemble and evaluate parts of cancelled jobs.
• Operate a forklift, hand tools and an overhead crane.
• Recycle excess inventory components and consolidate rack shelves.
• Scan returned surplus items to rack locations and deliver components to technician areas.
• Maintain a clean and orderly inventory and surplus area while following safety policies.
• Receive incoming jobs and purchased parts, process returns to inventory, and store components according to procedures.
• Cross‑train in shipping, receiving and inventory functions.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Forklift experience and computer literacy.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lb and perform frequent stooping, bending, kneeling and crouching.
