Inventory Control Specialist

About the role

Seasats designs and deploys unmanned surface vessels and is scaling production. The Inventory Control Specialist will keep physical inventory accurate and ensure the warehouse runs efficiently, from receiving materials to resolving discrepancies.

Key responsibilities

• Process incoming materials accurately and manage urgent deliveries.
• Perform cycle counts, wall‑to‑wall inventories, and annual physical counts, reconciling them with system records.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, identify root causes, and work with responsible teams.
• Execute inventory transactions such as bin‑to‑bin transfers, reservations, and adjustments, tracking material movement from receiving to outbound shipment.
• Organize warehouse locations and maintain material master data for easy retrieval.
• Identify workflow improvement opportunities and partner with Production, Supply Chain, and other teams.

Required profile

• Experience in inventory control, warehousing, or materials handling, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Self‑starter with strong initiative, able to prioritize in a fast‑paced, resource‑limited setting.
• Comfortable operating warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack) or willing to obtain certification.

Required skills

• Familiarity with inventory management systems (WMS/ERP).
• Proficiency in Excel for tracking and reporting.
• Experience with lot/serial/batch tracking and barcode scanners.
• Forklift operation or certification.
