Internal Service Advisor – Automotive Service Department

About the role

The Internal Service Advisor supports Infiniti of Charlotte’s busy service department by coordinating repair orders, communicating with technicians, parts, and management, and ensuring efficient workflow. This full‑time, on‑site position is essential for timely vehicle repairs and high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Open and manage internal repair orders.
• Dispatch work efficiently to technicians and monitor shop progress.
• Coordinate with the parts department to secure timely parts availability.
• Maintain accurate documentation, repair order notes, and warranty processing.
• Support quality control, vehicle status tracking, and technician productivity.
• Assist with internal vehicle processing and help improve overall shop flow.

Required profile

• Previous automotive service experience preferred.
• Experience as a service advisor or similar role.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team‑oriented attitude with attention to detail.

Required skills

• CDK (preferred but not required).
