Interim Leasing Professional

About the role

We are seeking an Interim Leasing Professional to support our Aurum community. This entry‑level position focuses on driving occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction through all phases of the leasing process.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate any needed maintenance, and ensure apartments are ready for residents.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community policies on concessions and specials.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising using platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, and manage leasing data.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate; no prior industry experience required, though 1‑2 years leasing experience is preferred.
• Availability for weekend work and a standard Monday‑Friday schedule (9 am‑6 pm).
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Experience using online marketing tools like Craigslist and Facebook.
