Intensive English Program Adjunct Instructor

About the role

The State of Georgia, through Chattahoochee Technical College, seeks an Adjunct Instructor to teach the non‑credit Intensive English Program on the Marietta campus. This part‑time, term‑based role involves delivering morning classes to adult learners and tracking their progress.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver English language instruction in scheduled morning sessions (Mon‑Wed 8:30 am‑2:15 pm; Tue‑Thu 8:30 am‑12:15 pm).
• Assess and report student attendance, progress, and recommendations for further study.
• Maintain required documentation and administrative reports for the Center for Teaching and Learning.
• Collaborate with the Associate Director of the program on curriculum and student outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• At least one year of experience teaching adult ESL learners.
• TESOL certification preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Experience using online educational platforms.
