About the role
The Insurance Verification Specialist I supports the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences by confirming patient insurance coverage and assisting with related administrative tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
- Communicate with patients, providers, and insurance carriers to resolve coverage questions.
- Maintain accurate records of verification activities.
Required profile
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
- Current University of Arkansas System employee status (including student employees and graduate assistants) for internal applicants.
