Instructional Design Intern – Training Design & Development

About the role

The Department of Operational Support’s Capacity Development and Operational Training Service (CDOTS) is seeking a motivated Instructional Design Intern to support the creation and delivery of French‑language learning materials. This role offers a blend of translation, localization, and content management experience within the United Nations environment.

Key responsibilities

• Translate, localize, and ensure quality of training materials from English to French.
• Manage, maintain, and publish multilingual content using the UN’s translation tool and Learning Management System (LMS).
• Review, edit, and proofread translated documents for linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance.
• Collaborate with the Learning and Development team and external stakeholders to meet delivery timelines.

Required profile

• Enrolled in or completed a graduate program in Translation or a related field, or in the final year of a bachelor’s degree.
• No prior professional experience required.
• Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., MS Office 365).
• Ability to provide official proof of enrollment or graduation.
