Institutional Analyst – Analytics & Insights

About the role

The University of Arkansas is seeking an Institutional Analyst to join its Institutional Analytics and Insights team. In this role you will support data‑driven decision‑making across the campus by analyzing institutional metrics and producing actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze institutional data from multiple sources.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Identify trends and provide recommendations to improve academic and operational performance.
• Collaborate with university departments to define data requirements and ensure data quality.
• Support ad‑hoc research projects and strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Business, Economics, Statistics, or related discipline.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented and able to work independently as well as within a team.

Required skills

• Data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with statistical or data‑visualization tools.
