Installation Superintendent

About the role

The Installation Superintendent leads safe, efficient, and successful material handling system installations at customer sites. This field leadership role coordinates mechanical and electrical work, labor planning, subcontractor management, and ensures compliance with safety, quality, and schedule requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day field leadership for installation projects, overseeing supervisors, foremen, skilled trades, and subcontractors.
• Plan and coordinate labor requirements, monitor progress, productivity, and schedule performance.
• Coordinate mechanical and electrical installation activities with controls, commissioning, engineering, and project management teams.
• Review drawings, specifications, and documentation to support proper field execution.
• Manage materials, tools, rental equipment, and access equipment needed for installations.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, ensure safety, quality, schedule, and contractual compliance.
• Identify risks, communicate impacts, and support project planning and closeout activities.

Required profile

• Experience supervising mechanical and/or electrical installation in industrial, construction, or automation environments.
• Proven ability to lead field personnel, subcontractors, and skilled trades.
• Strong understanding of construction safety practices and ability to read drawings and specifications.
• Effective communication and problem‑solving skills with customers and internal teams.
