Installation Superintendent

About the role

Join KONE’s Austin team as an Installation Superintendent, overseeing local installation operations for elevators, escalators and building doors. You will lead on‑site construction crews, coordinate multiple subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise on‑site installation teams, managing schedules, performance tracking and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with general contractors and multiple subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Implement and monitor safety guidelines, maintaining a safe work environment at all times.
• Provide learning and development opportunities for team members and adopt new technologies.
• Collaborate with all organizational levels to achieve business goals and meet code requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of construction experience with supervisory responsibility, preferably leading a union‑represented workforce.
• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, systems and installation processes.
• Proven ability to manage schedules, resources and safety compliance on construction sites.
