Installation Manager – Houston, TX

About the role

The Installation Manager will lead KONE's local installation operations in Houston, guiding multiple teams on construction sites, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and performance excellence. This role collaborates across all organizational levels to deliver high‑quality elevator and escalator installations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple installation teams on construction sites, coordinating with subcontractors and general contractors.
• Implement and monitor safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
• Manage project schedules, track team performance, and ensure site readiness for each project.
• Provide learning and development opportunities for team members.
• Collaborate with all organizational levels to achieve business goals.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of construction experience with supervisory responsibility, preferably leading a union‑represented workforce.
• Bachelor’s or associate degree in a related field, or 8+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Proven ability to lead multiple teams across various sites and manage resources effectively.
• Strong focus on safety and quality standards.

Required skills

• Knowledge of building codes and code requirements.
• Understanding of building systems and construction management principles.
