Ingredient Handler – Production (10‑hr Shifts)

About the role

Join Nestlé’s Springville, UT facility that produces Stouffer's frozen meals. As an Ingredient Handler you will work 10‑hour rotating shifts on the 1st or 2nd shift, ensuring ingredients are prepared, labeled, and supplied to keep production running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Check all issued ingredients for quality and quantity and follow recipes.
• Label ingredients, complete paperwork, and prepare product for weighers and operators.
• Maintain adequate supply of ingredients, film, and pictorials to maximize operational capacity.
• Ensure proper rotation of ingredients, pans, and v‑mags.
• Follow mid‑shift and end‑of‑shift procedures for food storage, WIP, paperwork, and housekeeping.
• Hand‑load, tape, and stack cases, verifying accurate stamping and code quality.
• Sort sub‑standard product and monitor for foreign matter, notifying Team Leader or QA as needed.
• Weigh products consistently and accurately, keeping prep‑weigher stations supplied to avoid downtime.

Required profile

• Ability to lift, bend, pull heavy commodities and equipment repeatedly during a 10‑hour shift.
• Basic proficiency in English (reading, speaking, understanding) to follow directions and collaborate.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred; 90 days of food manufacturing experience in a Nestlé factory is a plus.
• Basic computer data entry skills.
